EMO Ltd is a company owned by two rather different yet complementary forty-something's
- David Andrews and Steve Hill.
David Andrews
David Andrews is a marketing expert by profession, by qualifications and by trade, who has spent his working life ensuring that he is not seen as a stereotypical marketing person.
From forming dynamic marketing strategy, producing great TV ads to ensuring your customers have 'once in a lifetime experiences' at spectacular live events - David can be a huge help to any individual or business. From stand-up comedy performances to senior boardroom roles, David has vast experience across the spectrum.
David has worked in a number of senior Marketing posts and as Managing Director for various major UK companies. His range of employers includes luminaries such as Capital Radio Group, Virgin Radio and British Gas.
One of his greatest achievements was creating and delivering the now infamous '2 Strangers and a Wedding' back in 1999 for BRMB. The undertaking was described by the national press as '.... the greatest single event to happen in radio since War of the Worlds.' With it came two ITV network documentaries and a degree of notoriety (to date he claims to have been forced to sign 126 autographs!!).
David has also worked on many major outdoor festivals and arena shows as Brand and Event Director including The Isle of Wight Festival, V Festival, The Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 Arena and the G8 People's Party in Birmingham's Cannon Hill Park.
Steve Hill
Steve Hill enters (stage-left) from the world of event management, production and live music. After a few years as a professional musician - "... number 63 in the singles chart was as close as I got to meteoric success" - he found life behind the scenes more to his liking. Some see this as a lucky escape for the listening public!
Over the last 15 years or so, whilst working on a freelance basis for companies such as the BBC, Live Nation, SJM Concerts, Clear Channel Entertainment, Sony Music (UK) and Light & Sound Design, Steve has delivered some of the highest profile events seen on TV, in arenas, stadiums and rather large fields around the world.
From tours across various continents with artistes such as Bon Jovi, Oasis & The Cure to cutting-edge fashion shows in Paris. From planning and organising major outdoor events in stadiums and stately homes in the UK to designing, planning & delivering stunning and effective trade exhibition stands - Steve really has been there, done that and given the t-shirt to Oxfam. He is the encyclopedia of what to do with your brand in a live environment.
